1. Phillips screwdriver (crosshead)
2. Compatible PS3 2.5-inch SATA HDD
3. Either an external USB HDD or a USB memory stick/flash drive - This is used to backup and restore any data that you have on your present HDD in your PS3 - You may not need this if you do not wish to transfer any of your data/game saves to your new HDD.
